But First... We Toast
Yea, yea I know, another avocado toast post; sorry but get used to them. :) I was entertaining friends for brunch at my house and here is what I prepared for starters. This platter consists of swiss cheese (can't remember the exact kind), red grapes and of course properly prepared avocado toast! After toasting the bread I thinly layered it with garlic hummus. Next I sliced the avocado and placed it on the bread whole, not smeared. After the avocado, I thinly sliced locally grown tomatoes over the avocado and garnished each with parsley, capers, green onion and a dash of salt and pepper.
