I've traveled to many places in the United States, and each place is significant in its own way. This past weekend I spent my time in Chicago. Chicago "the windy city" is not only known for it's blistering cold winters and deep dish pizzas, but most of all for its breath taking architecture. The weather was amazing during my stay. It was Lalapalooza weekend and when most people were in hippy attire (haha) I decided to wear pop colored off the shoulder dresses and funky floral skirts. Hows that for standing out from the crowd!
Now lets talk about the food! The food in Chicago was absolutely amazing! I visited Travelle in the Langham Hotel for lunch where I had divine Watermelon shrimp gazpacho, avocado toast topped with blue crab, chargrilled octopus and potatoes and the list goes on. The Trump HotleI has a very nice brunch service. The list of things that I had to ear are endless! (haha). I enjoyed dinner and a very spectacular view at Cindy's in the Chicago Athletics Association. I had divers scallops and a very large split pea salad. My next trip I will be going back for more!! The last highlighted restaurant of my trip was a Mexican restaurant called Lena Brava. There i enjoyed plates such as Ceviche, Crab salad, Cauliflower mash and whole Branzino, lets not forget about the amazing wine! I can truly say that next time I will be going back strictly to indulge in more food!
